Hi, Eblen Warrior Families. My name is Katie Robinson, and I am thrilled to be part of the Eblen Community. My goal is to continue the tradition of maintaining a safe environment where students feel comfortable being at school so they are ready to learn each day.

I began my career in Buncombe County Schools at Leicester Elementary School as a Title I Assistant while I attended Mars Hill University to obtain my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. Once I graduated, I began teaching at West Buncombe Elementary School. I was able to serve as a second grade teacher and a Title I reading specialist at WBES.

I obtained a Master’s Degree in School Administration from WCU during my time in the classroom. Most recently, I served as assistant principal intern at Koontz Intermediate prior to coming back home to the Erwin community.

I am looking forward to serving the students and families of the Eblen Community! Please do not hesitate to call or email with any questions or concerns you may have during the year.

Hello Eblen Warriors. My name is Margo Hale and I am so excited to be one of your Assistant Principals at Eblen Intermediate School.

This is my 27th year as an educator. I started my teaching career in Transylvania County schools at Brevard Elementary where I was a kindergarten teacher and a Title I Math teacher. I moved to Asheville in July 2000 and started with Buncombe County schools where I taught second, third and fifth grades at  Charles C. Bell Elementary School. I was there for 11 years before I moved into an Instructional coach position for the past 10 years.

I attended Western Carolina University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1994 and completed a Master of Science Degree in School Administration in 2018.

On a personal level I am a proud parent of two daughters and a Shih Zu. During my free time I enjoy hiking in our beautiful mountains, reading a good book and spending time with my family.

Education is truly my passion and I am fortunate to be able to go to work everyday and do what I love. I look forward to working with students, parents, teachers, and the community to help our students achieve their highest and full potential.

Please let me know if I can assist you in any way during the 2022-2023 school year. I am excited to be part of this school and community as an Eblen Warrior!
