Hello! I have been teaching at Eblen Intermediate since 2019 but began my teaching career in 2001.

Through the years I have had the pleasure of teaching everything from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. I can honestly say that 5th is my very favorite and Eblen is the best school I’ve ever been at.

Anyone who knows me knows I have true Erwin Community Spirit. My own children attend school here and have been active in Erwin Youth League Sports for years.

My husband and I are the proud parents of our daughter and son. Our family also includes two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, and some fish in a tank. This brings to mind one of my favorite quotes, "If you think my hands look full, you should see my heart."

We stay busy with cheer, football, basketball, baseball, and softball. In our rare spare time we like to go to the lake with our boat, work in the garden, swim, play outside, and you can usually find me hiding out and reading a book.

Please feel free to contact me anytime!
I am a firm believer in listening to and learning from one another. I certainly ask my students a lot of questions and encourage a problem solving approach to learning.  I am happy to work with you and your child in ways that best meet their needs and learning styles.
